Submittal in contractor is the first that carries out the preparation and submission of the documents. The design is checked and aligned by the architect, engineer, and even, in some cases, subcontractors. Each reviewer will either stamp with approved, revise and resubmit, or rejected. Once it has been approved, it can be fabricated and delivered, hence, it is an official quality control procedure.
