I recently had a 2017 BMW X3 inspected in Arabian Ranches by a company I found online. The report came back saying the car had a leaking oil pan, worn control arm bushings, and a failing transmission mount. The total estimated repairs were over 8,000 AED. The seller seemed shocked and said he drives the car daily and hasn't noticed any issues. Now I'm not sure if the inspector was being overly picky or if the seller is hiding something. I'm thinking of paying for another inspection from a different company, one that offers Meticulous Car Inspection Arabian Ranches, to confirm the findings. Has anyone here ever gotten a second opinion after a bad inspection report? Was the second inspector more or less critical? I don't wanna waste more money on inspections but I also don't wanna walk away from a good car if the first inspector was exaggerating. The car is priced well otherwise. Any advice on how to handle this would be great. Also wondering if I should ask the seller to split the cost of the second inspection since he claims the car is fine. Thanks.
